African Influence

All my life I dreamt of stepping on the red and sacred earth of Africa, of feeling and seeing the golden rays of the sensual sunsets, and observing so many life forms precious and endangered in person! My three weeks in Kruger Park South Africa were simply life altering. I have tried to re-create the light, the vastness, and the power of these sacred grounds. Enjoy!

Away from the maddening crowd
into your maddening self searching
for your essence-touching the leaves,
running your fingers through the red earth and finding the
I in the essence of its unifying atoms
coming to the conclusion that all of it matter, and all of it matters
Returning with eyes that are capable of appreciating oneness.
